Comprehensive Financial History

The Interactive Financial History allows our shareholders and other interested investors to quickly and easily analyze CVS Health's most important financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flow, and key performance ratios. It enables a more transparent portrayal of our financial condition by allowing investors to perform powerful analysis from a standard Web browser.

These tools have many features: for example, you can chart the financial performance of CVS Health for the last several years, on an annual or quarterly basis; look at key indicators on an annual basis or view a selection of standard reports, export the charts you create as images, or download the raw data into a spreadsheet.

These tools allow you to view our key financial information, prepared in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America. They include certain amounts based on our best estimates and judgments. Most of the financial information has been derived from the statutory filings dealing with each financial year; the reports of the auditors on those filings were unqualified. Quarterly and monthly figures are unaudited and have been derived mostly from the relevant published quarterly filings or monthly press releases. The information contained in this section relating to past performance is not necessarily a guide to the future.

Non-GAAP Information

The information contained on the External Website includes "non-GAAP financial measures" as defined by SEC rules. As required by SEC rules, we provide a reconciliation of each non-GAAP financial measure to the most comparable GAAP measure and an explanation why management believes that presentation of the non-GAAP financial measure provides useful information to investors. Non-GAAP financial measures should be considered in addition to, but not as a substitute for or superior to, other measures of financial performance prepared in accordance with GAAP.

The reconciliation of non-GAAP financial measures may be found in the Financials section of CVS Caremark's investor relations website in the Past Events & Materials section.
