Karen serves on the board of U.S. Bancorp and is Chair of their Audit Committee. She is a trustee of The Bushnell Performing Arts Center and a member of the Global 50 and the Boston College Women’s Council. Karen also serves as a member of the Business Roundtable.

Troyen A. Brennan, M.D., M.P.H, is Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of CVS Health Corporation. Prior to joining CVS Health Corporation, Dr. Brennan was Chief Medical Officer of Aetna Inc. From 2000 to 2005, Dr. Brennan served as President and CEO of Brigham and Women's Physician's Organization. In his academic work, he was Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and Professor of Law and Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Brennan received his M.D. and M.P.H. degrees from Yale Medical School and his J.D. degree from Yale Law School. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences.


David A. Falkowski is Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at CVS Health. In this role, David leads the company’s Compliance and Corporate Security & Resiliency teams.

Prior to assuming the Chief Compliance Officer role in 2015, David served as Vice President and General Auditor of CVS Health for four years. During that time, David helped enhance the company’s audit practices and focus on compliance assurance.

David is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years in a variety of compliance, financial and operational leadership positions.Prior to CVS Health, David held executive roles at National Grid in the United Kingdom and United States.

Daniel Finke is Executive Vice President, CVS Health and President of the Health Care Benefits (HCB) Segment. He is responsible for driving the CVS Health strategy to deliver consumer-focused, high value health care to the more than 34 million members served by HCB. He is also charged with simplifying the health experience for members using digital solutions, making health care more affordable and bringing to market CVS Health’s combined capabilities that demonstrate the company’s unique ability to serve the needs of customers, members and providers. He is a member of the CVS Health’s executive team.

He is passionate about addressing mental health stigma. He is also deeply committed to attain health equity for all Americans, by engaging public and private stakeholders to address social determinants of health through analytics-based approaches that offer new insight and opportunities into health care disparities.

Finke has more than 25 years of diverse health care leadership experience. He joined Aetna in 2014 and most recently led the Commercial Business and Markets organization, responsible for the multi-billion-dollar organization that delivers transformational, customer-focused benefits solutions to employers, their workforces and Medicare beneficiaries in local markets across the country. Finke has also held leadership roles in Network and Clinical Services and was a key leader on the Transformation team during the integration with CVS Health – where he worked to leverage CVS Health’s capabilities to increase member connections and deliver less expensive, simple, and seamless healthcare experiences.

Prior to joining Aetna, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of EmblemHealth, and previously spent more than a decade at Anthem in various national executive roles in healthcare operations, government programs and pharmacy benefit management.

Active in the community, Finke has served on multiple boards including the Alzheimer's Association of New York City, The Battery Park Conservancy, America's Health Insurance Plans, and the New York Health Plan Association.

Josh Flum is the Executive Vice President of Enterprise Strategy for CVS Health. In this role he is responsible for accelerating CVS Health’s growth through long-term strategic and market development initiatives, partnerships, investments and acquisitions. In addition, he drives organizational alignment on the positioning of CVS Health in the changing health care marketplace and in identifying new market opportunities and business models to further innovation and long-term growth.

Previously, Flum served as CVS Health’s Executive Vice President of Pharmacy Services, focused on growing CVS Health’s retail pharmacy business through the development and implementation of innovative programs and initiatives. He led the pharmacy operations, pharmacy professional services and payer relations functions that support the company’s more than 9,900 retail pharmacies. In addition, he oversaw CVS Health’s Enterprise Product Innovation and Development team and the Enterprise pharmacy growth team.

Flum joined the company in 2004. Prior roles at CVS Health include leadership positions in Pharmacy Operations and Pharmacy Technology. He has led several initiatives focused on improving pharmacy workflow, productivity and quality, which have significantly enhanced pharmacy services at CVS Pharmacy. Flum also led the cross-functional team responsible for the design and launch of the company’s ground-breaking Pharmacy Advisor program.

Flum is a graduate of the Yale Law School and spent the first years of his professional career clerking for the Honorable Edward R. Becker on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and then as an associate with the law firm Miller, Cassidy, Larroca and Lewin, LLP. He then joined the Boston Consulting Group where his work focused on the consumer and retail practice area.

Flum earned his bachelor’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Tufts University and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.


Shawn Guertin is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CVS Health. In this role, Guertin is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial strategy and operations, including accounting and financial reporting, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, treasury and capital planning, investments, risk management, tax, budgeting and planning, and procurement.
Prior to joining CVS Health, Guertin spent eight years at Aetna where he was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Enterprise Risk Officer. Guertin was the architect of the company's finance strategy during a period of rapid growth and transformation. He helped Aetna enter new markets and grow through expansion and acquisitions and was a key leader in shaping and affecting the merger with CVS Health in 2018. During his time in the role, Guertin was consistently recognized by Institutional Investor magazine as a top CFO.
Earlier in his career, Guertin served as executive vice president, CFO, treasurer and chief actuary of Coventry Health Care. He has also served in leadership roles at United HealthCare and The Travelers.
Guertin is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds a B.A. from Boston University. He is an active supporter of Memorial Sloan Kettering and other charitable causes.

Laurie Havanec is Chief People Officer at CVS Health, responsible for leading all areas of talent and culture and inspiring and engaging our nearly 300,000 colleagues across the company.
Laurie brings over 20 years of experience to CVS Health, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer of Otis Worldwide Co., the world’s leading company for elevator and escalator maintenance, installation, and service.
Before joining Otis, Laurie served as Corporate Vice President of Talent and Human Resources at United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where together with her team, she transformed and modernized the company’s talent agenda and priorities. She championed technology and new ways of thinking to create industry-leading practices in engagement, recruitment and performance. From 2013 to 2017, Laurie served as Vice President of Human Resources Institution Businesses, overseeing Aetna’s largest business segment with 60 billion in revenue. Prior to that, she held the title of Vice President of Talent Management and Human Resources for Aetna International.
Laurie earned a BS in Business from the University of Connecticut and a JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She’s a seasoned HR professional who has worked across all human resources functions including talent development, diversity, equity and inclusion, compensation and benefits as well as labor and employee relations.

Alan Lotvin, M.D., is Executive Vice President, CVS Health, and President, CVS Caremark, the company’s pharmacy benefits management (PBM) business. In this role, Lotvin oversees all aspects of the PBM business including sales and account management, operations, mail service pharmacy, CVS Specialty, and CVS Kidney Care. Lotvin also drives PBM strategy, new business development and client relationship management and retention.
Prior to his current role, Lotvin served as executive vice president and chief transformation officer of CVS Health, and before that executive vice president of CVS Specialty, the specialty pharmacy of CVS Health.
Before joining CVS Health in 2012, Lotvin was president and chief executive officer of ICORE Healthcare, a Magellan Health Services company. Previously, Lotvin held multiple roles at Medco Health Solutions, including president of Medco Specialty Pharmacy Services and senior vice president of Manufacturer Contracting.
Lotvin holds US Patent #6269819 Method and Apparatus for Circulatory Valve Repair. He is co-author of the book Live Better, Live Longer.
Lotvin began his career as a practicing cardiologist in New Jersey. He holds a master's degree in Medical Informatics from Columbia University and a Medical Degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn.

Thomas Moriarty is Executive Vice President, Chief Policy and External Affairs Officer, and General Counsel for CVS Health, a position he has held since March 2017. In this role, Moriarty leads the company’s external affairs programs, including the policy, government and public affairs, corporate communications, and legal and regulatory teams.
Moriarty brings his past experience of impacting and shaping national and state-specific public policy to his current responsibilities. He is keenly focused on promoting the company’s role in reshaping a health care industry that is more accessible and affordable, and that delivers better outcomes for patients.
Moriarty joined CVS Health in 2012 and since that time has held several senior roles, including General Counsel, Chief Strategy Officer, and chairman of Red Oak Sourcing, Inc. the global generics sourcing venture CVS Health formed with Cardinal Health. Prior to CVS Health, Mr. Moriarty most recently served as General Counsel at Celgene, a biopharmaceutical company, where he was responsible for global legal strategy and served on the company’s management committee. Prior to that, he worked for 12 years at Medco Health Solutions where he served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, President of Global Pharmaceutical Strategies, and led the M & A and Corporate Development functions. He began his career at the law firm of Mudge Rose Guthrie Alexander and Ferdon in New York.
Moriarty received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College.

Neela Montgomery is Executive Vice President and President, Retail/Pharmacy, with oversight of the company’s nearly 10,000 pharmacies across the United States.
Prior to coming to CVS Health, Neela was CEO of Crate & Barrel Holdings, a global home furnishings retailer that includes Crate & Barrel, CB2 and Hudson Grace. She oversaw all aspects of the company and led a progressive growth strategy by developing tools, culture and relationships with retailers, manufacturers and tech to propel the heritage brand into the future of retail. By the end of her tenure, the business was realizing 50% of its sales from ecommerce.
Before 2017, she was on the executive board of Otto Group, responsible for retail and brands and Executive Chairwoman across five operating companies, including Crate & Barrel. Earlier in her career she spent 12 years at Tesco PLC in various leadership roles in strategy, international, merchandising, eCommerce and grocery retail. During her time at Tesco, she rose to oversee the General Merchandise division for the UK business and sat on the UK Board of Directors.
Neela studied English Literature at Oxford University and holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore. She is a member of the 2020 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Institute, which challenges entrepreneurial leaders to build a better society.
Since 2017 she has been a member of the Board of Directors of Logitech and serves on its Audit committee.


Michelle Peluso is Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer at CVS Health, responsible for transforming CVS Health’s consumer experience, accelerating the company’s digital transformation and leading the company’s marketing and brand teams.

Michelle has an extensive 25-year career building world-class consumer experiences. She most recently served as Senior Vice President, Digital Sales and Chief Marketing Officer for IBM where she oversaw all global marketing and brand experiences, digital sales and the commercial business. Prior to IBM, Michelle was CEO of Gilt from 2013 until its sale to Hudson’s Bay Company in 2016. In her role at Gilt, she oversaw the expansion of the business and its drive to profitability.

Michelle served as Chief Consumer Marketing and Internet Officer for Citigroup, leading the bank’s award-winning digital transformation. She also served from 2002 to 2009 as CEO of Travelocity, pioneering online travel and driving significant scale worldwide. She joined Travelocity following its acquisition of Site59, a travel site she created and launched in 1999.

Michelle earned a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Pembroke College at Oxford University. She is a member of the Board of Directors at Nike, Inc., and is on the Executive Council of the Board of Directors of the Association of National Advertisers. Additionally, she served as a White House Fellow and Senior Advisor to Secretary of Labor Alexis Herman.

Jonathan Roberts is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CVS Health.
As Chief Operating Officer, Roberts has responsibility for operational oversight across CVS Health’s unique suite of assets in order to achieve maximum efficiency, optimize investment of key resources, and most importantly, to deliver differentiated products and services to help people on their path to better health.
Prior to assuming the Chief Operating Officer role for CVS Health in March 2017, Roberts served as President of CVS Caremark, the company’s Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business. In this role, he and his team focused on helping the company’s PBM clients improve health care outcomes for their members while managing overall health care costs.
Before being appointed as President of CVS Caremark in 2012, Roberts served as Chief Operating Officer of the PBM business. Roberts also served as EVP of pharmacy purchasing, pricing and network relations from 2009 to 2010 and Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 2006 until 2008. Prior to that, he held a variety of key leadership roles in the company’s retail business, CVS Pharmacy, including Senior Vice President of Store Operations from 2002 until 2005.
Mr. Roberts is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy, and he remains a licensed pharmacist. He more than 40 years of pharmacy health care experience.


Eileen Howard Boone is Senior Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility & Philanthropy and Chief Sustainability Officer for CVS Health. She also serves as the president of the CVS Health and Aetna Foundations as well as an officer of the CVS Health Employee Relief Fund and CVS Health Charity Classic.

Howard Boone is responsible for framing the strategic positioning of the company’s corporate social responsibility platform, Transform Health 2030, across four key focus areas: Healthy Business, Healthy People, Healthy Community and Healthy Planet. The $180 million in charitable funding that Howard Boone’s team is responsible for supports the company’s philanthropic programs in helping people on their path to better health through increase access to; health care for underserved populations, advanced quality of care, and reduction costs on health care systems.

In 2014, Howard Boone was instrumental in leading stakeholder engagement around the company’s decision to stop the sale of tobacco and garnering support from key anti-tobacco NGOs and health care organizations surrounding the announcement and tobacco exit.

Previously, she served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Community Relations for CVS Health, leading an enterprise team responsible for media relations, internal communications, corporate events, and community engagement.

A community advocate, Howard Boone serves on several nonprofit boards of directors, including the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, Crossroads Rhode Island and the NACDS Foundation. Through her work and expertise, she has earned many professional service accolades, including the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics Safety Net Health Care Champion Award, CECP’s Charles H. Moore Award, and the National Child Labor Committee’s Lewis Hine Award for service to children and youth.

David Casey is Senior Vice President of Workforce Strategies and Chief Diversity Officer for CVS Health, the nation’s largest pharmacy innovation company with $184 billion in revenue and more than 300,000 colleagues worldwide.

Casey is responsible for formulating and executing the company’s diversity management, EEO/affirmative action, and workforce initiatives strategies. He also serves as the president of the CVS Health Employee Relief Fund, a public charity designed to help CVS Health employees during unanticipated and unavoidable financial hardships and emergencies.

Casey is an eight-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in Operation Desert Storm. 

Active in the community, Casey serves in an advisory and board capacity for several national organizations, including the American Lung Association, the American Society on Aging, Disability:IN, the i4CP Chief Diversity Officer Board and the National Association of African Americans in HR.

Jim Clark is Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for CVS Health. In this position, he is responsible for accounting and financial reporting, aviation, and procurement. Previously, Clark served as Vice President of Finance and Accounting for CVS Health for more than nine years.

Before joining CVS Health, Clark spent 22 years in public accounting working in the San Francisco, Stockholm, and Boston audit practices of Deloitte & Touche LLP, including eight years as an audit partner.

A certified public accountant, Clark graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Carol DeNale currently serves as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of CVS Health. She joined the Company in 1997. Ms DeNale directs and oversees the Company’s capital structure; Treasury Services, Insurance Capital, Corporate Development, Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Management, EH&S (environment, health and safety) and Enterprise Resiliency and Response departments, along with capital expenditure, balance sheet and free cash flow forecasting and leasing. Previously, she led the capital structure and financing discussions for the $69 billion acquisition of Aetna in cash and stock. DeNale structured and negotiated a $49 billion bridge facility and a $5 billion term loan, and successfully led the acquisition financing of a $40 billion unsecured bond offering, the third largest single-day offering in the history of the U.S. market. Ms DeNale has spoken at the SEC Roundtable on Money Market Funds and Systemic Risk and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Capital Markets Summit, as well as numerous High-Grade Health Care, Consumer and Retail Fixed Income conferences. Prior to joining CVS Health in 1997, DeNale spent more than eight years with Waban Inc., the parent company for BJ’s Wholesale Club. She is a graduate of the University of Dayton, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.


John Kennedy is a Senior Vice President at and Chief Tax Officer for CVS Health. As the leader for the company of tax risk management, John is responsible for coordinating the identification and assessment of tax issues throughout the business. He leads teams that ensure compliance with applicable tax filing and financial reporting requirements, represent the company with governmental tax agencies, monitor and assess the potential impact of emerging federal and state tax legislation, evaluate and implement tax planning strategies, and serve as technical advisors and business partners to colleagues in other functions.
Following the announcement by CVS Heath of its agreement to acquire Aetna, Inc., one of the country’s leading diversified health care benefits companies, John led the team that was responsible for planning the integration of a combined Finance organization of over 6,500 people. Overseeing 14 workstreams, including Treasury, Financial Reporting, Investor Relations and FP&A, John and his teams created the roadmap by which the people, processes and technologies of Aetna would be combined with those of CVS Health. Since the close of the transaction in late 2018, John has led the development and planning for the Finance Transformation program, the goals of which include improving the efficiency of the Finance function, lowering the total cost of Finance and growing the ability of and opportunities for the Finance team to consistently deliver high-value insights and analysis to their partners in the business.
Before joining CVS Health in October 2013, John was a senior partner with Deloitte Tax, based in the New York office. In this role, he worked with clients in the manufacturing, biotech, medical device and luxury apparel industries that are among the world’s largest and most complex global companies, advising them on cross-border transaction planning, including intercompany financing, internal restructuring, supply chain and business model optimization, and repatriation of earnings. In addition to transaction support and advice, John assisted his clients with the development and implementation of global tax and cash management strategies and the effective and timely resolution of tax controversies with both US and non-US tax authorities.
John graduated with degrees in English Literature and History from the Honors College at the University of Michigan, where he was a James B. Angell Scholar. He also has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Emory University, where he also was Assistant Coach to the cross country and track teams. John presently serves on the Alumni Advisory Board to the Honors College at Michigan, as well as on other nonprofit boards in Rhode Island.


Susan V. Lisa is Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at CVS Heath. In this role, Susie leads the execution of the investor relations program, which helps ensure that CVS Health is strategically positioned and communicating effectively with analysts, investors and other stakeholders.
Prior to CVS, Susie was at Boston Scientific, where she served as Vice President, Investor Relations, for more than seven years. Under her leadership, the team was ranked #1 overall by Institutional Investor in its sector, including best Investor Relations program and best communication of strategy and risk management amidst COVID-19. In addition, BSX was nominated by IR Magazine in 2020 as one of six “Best Overall Investor Relations” programs for large cap stocks across all S&P sectors. Before joining BSX, Susie served as Senior Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Development at Abiomed.
Susie brings a great deal of strategic insight and knowledge of the health care industry and investor community, having previously spent 12 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, holding roles of increasing responsibility, including Managing Director and Head of Americas Specialist Sales; Healthcare Equity Research Specialist Sales; and as an Equity Research Analyst in Medical Devices. She has a BA in Political Science and Economics from Duke University, an MBA in Finance from New York University - Stern School of Business, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.


Colleen McIntosh is SVP, Chief Governance Officer and Corporate Secretary for CVS Health. In this role, she provides legal oversight and support for all corporate, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and securities matters, including SEC and NYSE compliance. Her scope of responsibility also includes legal support for treasury, finance, human resources, compensation and benefits, and as Corporate Secretary, matters relating to the Board of Directors and subsidiary management.

Prior to joining CVS Health, Ms. McIntosh was Senior Vice President – Associate General Counsel at Medco Health Solutions, Inc., a national pharmacy benefits manager, where she had overall responsibility for a broad range of legal matters including Healthcare Reform, state insurance regulatory compliance, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and labor and employment.

Previously, Ms. McIntosh was a business partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP, a large global law firm, where she worked primarily in the areas of employee benefits, executive compensation and business transactions.

Ms. McIntosh earned her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from St. John’s University. In addition, she completed postgraduate law studies (LL.M.) in taxation at New York University School of Law.

Thomas S. Moffatt, Vice President, Assistant Secretary and Senior Legal Counsel of CVS Health Corporation since January 2014; Vice President and Secretary of CVS Health Corporation from January 2012 through December 2013; Vice President, Secretary and Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate Services of CVS Pharmacy, Inc. since August 2008. In this role, Mr. Moffatt provides legal oversight and support for a wide variety of corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, corporate structure and maintenance, SEC and NYSE compliance, capital markets transactions, and licensing.
Prior to joining CVS Health in August 1997, Moffatt spent four years as a corporate law associate at the law firm of Mintz Levin in Boston.
Mr. Moffatt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College, and his Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law.
